Nassim Road

About The Project

From a top-of-the-line modern kitchen with Gaggenau home appliances to a free-standing Philippe Starck signature bathtub fittings, no expense was spared when it came to redesigning and outfitting this 6,000 square foot colonial black & white house on Nassim Road.

Selecting the appliances and fittings was the easy part. The brief included adding two additional bathrooms upstairs, building an infinity pool, finding a space for a gym and so forth. The challenge was not only where to add two bathrooms on the second storey, but also whether or not the 1920’s wooden floorboards structurally would be able to handle the additions. Engineers were brought in as we reconfigured the entire upstairs to transform the balcony areas into new luxurious bathrooms.

Then as we move outdoors, this was our team’s very first full pool design and construction project. As an extension of the indoor living space, we create multi-leveled deck and seating areas throughout the backyard. The long lap pool reached towards the horizon of the lush landscaping, complete with a Koi pond and contemporary Japanese influences to create outdoor areas to relax.
